However, many criticize paywalls and steep pricing, limited or misleading free trials, and access barriers. Some users also report login issues and technical glitches. Overall, it’s seen as a useful teaching tool by some, but the financial model and accessibility deter many others.

  • Fun and engaging with lots of lessons/content.
  • Kid-friendly design and teaching focus.
Cons
  • Paywalls and expensive pricing; most lessons require payment.
  • Free trial is limited or misleading; some users report no real free trial.
  • Onboarding/login problems or difficult access for parents.
  • Technical glitches and inconsistencies (glitchy UI, shading/opacity issues).
  • Per-drawing payments after initial drawing / pay-to-access model.

Cool drawings

You have to buy a subscription and it’s really just tracing. You’re not actually learning how to draw. Also, you cannot go at your own pace. You have to pick goals and then if you pick a different drawing on a different day, you have to change your goals. It’s kind of ridiculous. I get it you could argue that tracing will help you learn that’s fair but if I have to pay for an app, I should be able to choose whatever I wanna draw whenever I wanna draw it.
