User Reviews

Users love the app for its affordable price and large library of high-quality textures and filters that are easy to apply for creative effects. However, recurring issues across reviews include crashes when loading photos, occasional gallery blackouts, and licensing hassles around overlays not downloading or needing repurchase. Support is frequently reported as unresponsive. Performance concerns are compounded by a lower output resolution (4096x4096) that limits large prints, and some filters don’t suit all photos (portraits). Overall, strong creative potential hampered by stability, licensing, and support problems.

Pros

Low price (99 cents) for a large library of textures and filters.
Extensive variety of textures/filters with control over blend, lighting, and color.
Easy-to-use layout that makes applying effects quick.
Creative results with distinctive grunge textures and bird overlays.
No subscription model, making it affordable for casual users.

Cons

Frequent crashes/instability when loading photos and occasional gallery blackouts.
Licensing and purchasing hassles, including re-purchasing overlays and download failures for add-ons.
Inconsistent developer support with slow or no responses.
Output resolution limited to 4096x4096, which hampers large prints.
Some filters/overlays aren’t suitable for portraits or certain photos, reducing applicability.
