This magazine caters towards what is most important in the life of upland bird hunting, the “dogs”! If you are a person that enjoys hunting upland game behind bird dogs, this is the publication for you. It is old school in that it’s the dogs in our life that makes the hunt. Hunting behind a favorite dog makes the endeavor so pleasant it doesn’t even matter if you get one shot off. This magazine makes me remember why I gave hunting up after my dogs passed. Truly an enjoyable read, blessed to have found it!

I have been a subscriber since the first issue. And have saved every one! I sometimes go back and read the wisdom of writers like Dave Duffy and so many others who have passed.

GunDog Magazine is the top choice for any reference material I need when training my bird dogs. Any question or issue one could ever have in the field, has been addressed in depth throughout these pages at some point. I typically don’t have to look anywhere else for guidance.
