It needs to have an option to turn off all hints. And a button to expose it. For example: When I ask my daughter , what's this kanji, she simply reads the Hiragana if she forgets . I would like to be able to turn that off so she has to think about what it is . And if I want a button to expose the hint .

If I could control the music volume I would give this 5 stars. This app is simple to use, and I love that it has a practice mode and a battle mode. Both will check your stroke order, but in battle mode wrong answers count as a hit against you. My 7-year-old and I enjoy using it, and even my 4-year-old is able to practice!

There are some errors in pronunciation ("10" "十" "じゅう" "juu" sounding like "zuu") maybe due to poor sound recording, and some romaji written incorrectly. This app is helpful for practicing stroke order, though.
