User Reviews

The app is lauded for ease of use and strong transcription/organization features and is valued in various contexts, but suffers from reliability glitches, contentious pricing/subscription practices, billing issues, and support challenges. Overall, it can be very useful when it works, but many reviews cite recurring problems with recording reliability, billing, and customer service.
Pros
  • Very easy to use and intuitive; reviewers repeatedly call it the easiest phone recorder they’ve used.
  • Strong transcription and labeling features (clean transcriptions, speaker labels, and easy organization) that help review and reuse recordings.
  • Useful across multiple contexts (legal/documentation, compliance, medical interviews, etc.) and has a long track record of being relied upon when it works.
  • Perceived value and pricing advantage for some users, with many reviewers calling it the best-priced option at times.
Cons
  • Reliability issues and glitches (missing recordings, time-stamp problems, and strange behavior like ongoing recording on some devices).
  • Pricing and subscription model seen as expensive or aggressive (auto-renewals, price increases, and difficult cancellation).
  • Billing problems and unauthorized charges (free trial misbilling, refunds delays, and surprising charges).
  • Weak or hard-to-reach customer support (inconsistent assistance and paywall-style AI support).
  • Transcripts not consistently available or reliable (transcripts not showing up or being inaccurate in some cases).
Recent reviews
Had recordings that still show with time recorded. They were recorded and merged as instructed. I can no longer play the recordings. Submitted a request for assistance and only got information back that said I needed to make sure I merged my future calls

In a world where companies over promising under deliver It's nice to have an app that does what it promises in a clean no learning curve way.
