User Reviews

Reviews praise the app’s realistic Santoor tone, tuning usefulness, and attractive visuals, but repeatedly report stability and audio failures. Users cite crashes, no audible sound on multiple devices, and compatibility problems with iOS updates, plus a limitation on playing two strings at once. The core concept is strong, but persistent usability issues require updates to restore reliability and feature completeness.
Pros
  • Realistic Santoor tone and beautiful sounds
  • Helpful for tuning when the instrument isn’t available
  • Visually appealing graphics with staff notes
  • Strong overall presentation and faithful recreation of the instrument
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and the app not opening on various iOS versions
  • No sound or inconsistent audio on many devices (iPad Pro, iPhone models)
  • Compatibility issues with iOS 13+ and newer devices
  • Cannot play two strings simultaneously / UI limitations preventing polyphony

I am a professional Santoor player and composer and I used to use this app when I didn’t have my instrument with me and I needed to check something up on my Santour and it was really useful. Recently, I mistakenly update it to the last version to get rid of annoying old bugs, but unfortunately, it becomes worse and using it is now near to impossible . Being unable to specify a proper place for ads, they keep ruining the app by replacing Santoor picture over and over without adjusting touches which makes you completely confused in playing strings.

The santoor tone is ok (it really sounds like santoor; the unlike some other Apps). But that’s the only good feature. You tried one saved song and it as terrible. I was hoping to find something to help me tune my Santoor. I didn’t find anything here (maybe is there and I didn’t feel d it).
