Features & Capabilities

Health care providers recommend that patients with overactive bladder or incontinence keep a daily record of liquid intake and voiding details. Usually this means filling out a paper form but with this app, a few clicks on the iPhone record the information as a digital diary. Each entry can be reviewed and edited. The Report feature of the app takes the data and converts it to readable text in a PDF summary file. This file can be emailed to the physician for review and inclusion in the patient's electronic medical record.

The one feature I want in this is being able to add volumes catheterized. It’s so strange that it doesn’t have this one basic and important feature.

This app is quite poorly designed. There are many, many flaws and things that make it annoying and difficult to use, such as: 1) when making an entry you can choose to record the volume using a range listed (e.g. 100-200 mL) or use a slider bar which is WAY too sensitive. I prefer to record the exact amounts, not the range, but when using the slider it’s difficult to get the exact number. It would be SO much easier if you were able to just type in the amount, but that is not an option. 2) once you make an entry, you cannot edit it. If you make a mistake or leave something out and don’t notice until after your entry is finished, you have to start over and create a new entry because there is no “edit” button. Very annoying and inconvenient. 3) there are multiple choice lists you can choose from, such as the strength of the urge for example (none, mild, strong, severe), but when you select your answer it doesn’t highlight or do anything to confirm that you selected that option, so you don’t know if it’s actually recorded or not. 4) the app is obviously outdated and old. I didn’t read the description carefully enough and didn’t realize that the last update was FIVE YEARS AGO. It’s my fault for not reading closely, but I really wish they would update this app 5) this app is made to be used on iPhone ONLY. I have an iPad that I use regularly and I like to keep my health data & apps on there, not on my phone, but when I opened this app on iPad the screen is only as big as an iPhone screen...the rest is black space. It still works, but it’s tiny on my iPad, which annoys me a bit In conclusion, this app mostly does its job and records bathroom trips, leakage, and fluid intake, but making an entry is a difficult process that could very easily be improved with an update. The app does its job, but does so poorly, and there are more cons than pros. I haven’t been able to find a bladder diary that works for me, and I was hoping this would be it because the format SEEMS simple...however, as I’ve said, making entries is quite the opposite. I wish the devs would update this because I really want to like it, but the way it is right now, I do not. If it’s ever updated, I am more than happy to edit my review to reflect my experience with new changes. Until then, I rate it 1 star.

This seems like it has everything I need except it's nearly impossible to track exact measurements using the slider. If I stop it on 100 the amount changes to 103 when I lift my finger. If they fix this or add a way to type it in exactly I think it would be perfect.
