Review summary
Pros
- Infinite canvas with a smooth, responsive vector-based drawing workflow that makes idea capture quick.
- Strong color palette and intuitive drawing tools that make sketching easy and expressive.
- Reliable for notes and long-term use, with iCloud syncing and easy export, handy for school or field work.
- Faster and more feature-rich than some alternatives (e.g., Freeform), improving workflow for many users.
- Great for brainstorming and planning thanks to endless canvas and flexible layout.
Cons
- Pricing and subscriptions gate essential editing/features, making basic moves require paying.
- Missing core editing tools for notetaking/design: limited text support, few fonts, basic brushes, and weak fill/eraser behavior.
- Lack of collaboration features and uneven cross-device parity (iPhone vs iPad, sharing links).
- Canvas/tool limitations (not truly infinite zoom, some scaling/measurement quirks).
- Performance issues on some devices, such as heating on iPad 10th generation.

| 2026-06-12 | Do***** | I’m just not down to lock into pay monthly, or pay annually, or any ongoing payment for a super simple vector drawing app. I understand this is their business model, this is just , like most any app, not worth an ongoing subscription payment for, and the iOS native Freeform app or the Sketchbook™ app with only a 1x $3 premium upgrade for life, is exponentially a better value for just about any user, in my approximation. The idea of ongoing payments for things that do not provide constant, edge of the moment, extremely relevant content upgrades are simply not worth the expense. Americans are getting squeezed by real non-negotiable expenses and can’t afford the non-stop discretionary spend throwaways like this. | |

| 2026-06-09 | Dj***** | BE AWARE! You will buy the application or a feature of the application and they will roll out an update and take it away while hiding it behind a pay wall. They said this app update was to help with apple connection. That’s a lie, they just took a bunch of tools away and hid it behind a pay wall so you’re forced to get the subscription. I’m tired of greedy companies doing this. DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING ON THIS APP! They will steal it from you! I’m telling everybody I can this is outrageous. | |
