The Mobile GDO device is designed to operate a garage door opener by using your Apple iPhone. The Mobile GDO connects your iPhone to the Mobile GDO garage door opener though the use of your home 802.11B/G WiFi network and the internet. The smartphone functions like a hand held garage door opener, but it can operate the garage door opener from anywhere using WiFi and internet connections. Mobile GDO also allows you to remotely check if your garage door is open or closed.

I use it daily. I've opened my garage door for my kids from the other side of the world with this app. I love it. Full stop. It's ready for the 64-bit conversion that is coming soon. Your hardware investment will work past iOS 11. The hardware is easy to use and a great appendage to your existing garage door opener.

Worked as advertised with good vidoes to walk you through technical setup. Unfortunately it has not been updated in some time and while initial support was superb, it has become impossible to get a response. I receive warnings that the app will not be compatible with IOS 11 so I am starting to search out alternatives.

Great APP and hardware combination. Makes it so easy to open, close and check status of garage door(s). Had a couple of questions when setting up and they were answered immediately.
