Features & Capabilities

Kings in the Corners is a circular, Klondike-style card game for four players (three robots and you). Seven cards are dealt to each player. On your turn, you draw a card from the draw pile, then place alternating red and white cards on the table stacks. Corner stacks must count down from 13, and play moves around the table until someone empties their hand.

The deck uses high-contrast cards with large numbers to improve accessibility. A paid, no-ads version called Kings in the Corners Gold is also available.

User Reviews

Kings in the Corners is praised as a free, easy-to-learn, relaxing card game that’s quick to play and mentally engaging. However, many players report fairness and reliability problems: a perceived AI advantage and rigged feel, plus frequent bugs and UI issues around the pass button. Overall, it’s a fun casual title with room for balance improvements and better stability.
Pros
  • Free to play with few or no fees mentioned by users
  • Relaxing and engaging; quick to pick up and fun for casual play
  • Easy to learn and user-friendly, with helpful hints (light bulb) and guidance
  • Adds mental stimulation and can be addictive, making it good for brain exercise while watching TV or passing time
Cons
  • Perceived unfair AI/dealing, with multiple reviews suggesting the computer has the cards or wins too often
  • Frequent bugs and freezes, including games locking up or crashing during play
  • Pass button/UX issues (missing Pass in some cases and buttons too close to cards in others)
  • Some stability and reliability concerns across sessions, including needing to restart or reload the game

To win more than the standard 25%, there is a lot you can do to be a substantial bigger winner.
