User Reviews

Overall, Stitch It is praised for being easy to use and reliable for stitching long images, with a favorable one-time-purchase pricing model. However, frequent updates have introduced stability and reordering problems, image-loading glitches, and some UX quirks. Ads can disrupt the experience. Despite these issues, many users continue to rely on it for receipts, recipes, and long articles, valuing its simplicity and longevity when it functions properly.
Pros
  • Easy to use and intuitive interface.
  • Reliable stitching that does what it promises (long vertical composites).
  • Longstanding, well-supported app with responsive developer attention.
  • Flexible pricing model (free tier with optional one-time upgrade) and privacy (limited data collection).
  • Useful for a variety of tasks (recipes, long articles, receipts) and remains effective over years.
Cons
  • Updates frequently disrupt core functionality (reordering, saving stitches) and overall stability (freezes, load/save issues).
  • Reordering/drag-and-drop can be broken or unreliable, with image order flipping or becoming impossible to adjust.
  • Ads and promotions interrupt the workflow and can feel invasive or hard to avoid.
  • Photo loading issues persist (fails to load images, iCloud/download prompts, not seeing albums).
  • UI can feel confusing or not entirely intuitive in certain scenarios.

So far so good in my opinion! This app is done everything it’s advertised to me that it would do and it’s been easy to figure out from the get-go. Depending on my future needs project wise I may or may not go for the pro version, but for now the free version is an epic tool to have in my back pocket and will be staying on my phone for sure!!

Nicely focused app that does exactly what it says on the tin. This has been one of my go-to’s for several years now, and it has fun little flourishes if you want to leave them enabled. Definitely worth paying to remove ads and support the developer, in no small part because: Possibly most important besides the app’s utility is the developer’s responsiveness. An update in March completely broke stitching for me, and when I emailed the developer, they worked quickly to start addressing the problem.
