Direct Remote for DIRECTV is a WiFi remote that lets you control your DIRECTV receiver from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch on your home network. It supports Genie Client receivers and RVU-enabled TVs, and brings voice control, gesture navigation, 65 quick-access channels, shortcuts, and a program guide for your favorites. It automatically discovers receivers on the network and enables control of every receiver from a single device, even when some devices are in different rooms.

Notes: Requires iOS 10.0 or higher. Compatible models include all Genie receivers and HR/HRx series, R22/R23, HR24, H21/H23/H24/H25, and newer, plus RVU-enabled TV sets. It only controls DIRECTV receivers, not TV power or volume.

If I could give zero stars I would. I downloaded thinking it would work based on the other positive reviews. It won’t connect to my system no matter how I go about it. It tells me it’s connected however will not control the system. Very frustrating and disappointing.
