Scrolling is annoying when view changes so quickly

I’ve been a subscriber for a long time and love the app but am reluctant to give it a 5 star rating for these reasons: 1) The top and bottom margins are too wide and take up more space than necessary. 2) The constant animation caused by my scrolling up and down is distracting. 3) The banner pointing to the meditation is not required since most readers are aware of its location and is not hard to reach. Otherwise every other feature is wonderful especially the change to the psalms where the response is provided after each section. Thank you.
