User Reviews

Reviews praise Horse Anatomy for being easy to use, helpful for studying, and useful in clinical or class settings, with quizzes and detailed 3D visuals that show muscle placement. However, common issues include stability problems (glitches/crashes), incomplete depth (missing tendons and some skull details) and superficial explanations, plus concerns about value for money. Several users report vague or blurry graphics and usability/navigation drawbacks (hard labeling, limited rotation/zoom). Overall it’s a solid beginner study aid, but falls short for advanced users needing reliability and richer content.
Pros
  • Easy to use / user-friendly interface.
  • Strong educational value for studying anatomy; portable for on-the-go learning; helpful for students and professionals.
  • Quizzes and interactive features help with memorization and learning.
  • Detailed 3D visuals showing muscle placement and anatomy, with informative text (and audio in some parts).
  • Useful in real-world contexts like vet visits and client education.
Cons
  • Stability and reliability issues: glitches, crashes, and occasional non-functionality.
  • Content depth is limited: missing tendons/ligaments, incomplete coverage, and superficial explanations; limited skull detail.
  • Value for money concerns: perceived overpriced for the features and depth provided.
  • Usability/navigation drawbacks: not intuitive at times, hard to locate labels, limited rotation/zoom.
  • Graphics quality can be vague or blurry/low-detail images.

I hope you read this review and listen, this app is junk. It hasn’t been updated in over 2 years. It’s glitchy, difficult to use (if it will work at all) the graphics and details as well as anatomy accuracy is all garbage. Do not purchase this app, I’m actively looking for a way to get a refund.

Bought this and the dog version. Despise them both. It is not user friendly and not intuitive to use. Not even my tech savvy kid can get the thing to work well. Huge vote no.

I was not happy with the graphics, the muscles are blurry and it is not as complete as I was hoping. I am an RVT specializing in equine therapy and rehabilitation and I need to know all muscles and there functions and insertion. I was hoping this would be a great tool to have as a quick reference. But I guess for the price it isn't terrible. Guess I will stick to my anatomy books
