User Reviews
Pros
- Clever, challenging puzzles that feel rewarding and mind-bending, with a mix of well-placed red herrings.
- Immersive, creepy atmosphere and a strong mystery/story that enhances the puzzle experience.
- High-quality indie design from a small two-person team; frequently described as a standout or 'masterpiece' in the escape-puzzle genre.
- Very engaging and hard to put down, with a rabbit-hole style of puzzle discovery that rewards persistence.
- Feels like a genuine classic adventure-puzzle, reminiscent of Myst/The Room, which fans appreciate.
Cons
- Pervasive bugs and glitches that can block progress or crash, including issues with specific puzzles and the Inception mini-game.
- Intrusive in-app ads that pop up during play and break immersion.
- Some puzzles can be cryptic or unintuitive, or rely on obtuse cues; visibility in dark areas can also hinder solving.
- Occasional lack of updates/support and some players feel Ep 1 is shorter or less polished than later entries.
Recent reviews
If you're reading this, hit download. This is a seminal game (series) that is under-downloaded and under-discussed.
A very small (2-man) team built a great puzzler. Some real headscratchers. It's a worthy entry to the legacy Myst created. The Room, House of Da Vinci, etc.
I completed #1 (this game) without hints. For #2 I needed a few hints. I play without sound and skip past all the story/lore-building/reading, which made a few puzzles unsolvable for me without hints.
Out of the box thinking required. Really just an impressive and difficult (comparatively) escape puzzler that the devs should feel proud of building.

genuinely one of, if not the best, escape room games i've ever played. calling it an escape room isn't even doing it justice this is a masterpiece

I can’t believe this game doesn’t have more reviews, it is easily one of the best adventure escape style games I’ve played. I found it through an article “Best Adventure Games for iPad” and took a chance on it. I really enjoyed it. There are a couple of red herrings here and there which are tricky, but this really took me back to the adventure game way of thinking. Fantastic!
