User Reviews

Overall, users praise easy, robust diabetes and nutrition tracking with strong reporting and device syncing. The main downsides are cost and affordability, occasional usability glitches (especially around adding recipes/photos), gaps in the food database and search results, and limited integration for insulin data with Apple Health/Dexcom. Despite these, many users report improved health outcomes and reliable support, making it a trusted long-term tool for diabetes management.
Pros
  • Easy to use with an intuitive interface.
  • Comprehensive tracking: logs for meals, carbs, calories, blood sugar, and more; supports custom items and recipes.
  • Detailed reports and analytics that are impressive to clinicians.
  • Cross-device syncing so data stays consistent across devices.
  • Responsive support and ongoing updates/feature improvements.
Cons
  • High cost and rising prices; affordability concerns.
  • Not always intuitive; some flows cause data loss when adding a recipe/photo.
  • Incomplete food database and sometimes confusing limits.
  • Gaps in health data integration, especially insulin data with Apple Health/Dexcom.
  • Food search sometimes yields no results or is unreliable.

I’m abandoning right away here bc although it says it has a gestational diabetes option it still forces a weight loss goal while you’re pregnant and there is no way to set it to zero.

After a relapse/set back…I got back to using MyNetDiary. Helps me keep in charge of my weight and blood sugar. Helps me learn what foods affect me and how. If you need to get serious about controlling carbs, blood sugar and losing weight this is the app... Combining carb intake and blood sugar tracking has instantly given me the ability to keep my blood sugar in check...get this app to take control before diabetes takes control over you.

I use the free version. It’s great for the basics I need. Food tracking, BG values, weight tracking. The reminders every mealtime to enter my meals is great at helping me stay accountable. Only downside is the prompt to upgrade to premium just as often. It’s not a huge spend but I’m on a strict budget and don’t need the other features.
