User Reviews

User reviews show a mixed picture: updates have improved interface and speed, and some users experience smoother voice interactions. However, persistent issues include unreliable AI behavior (poor prompt understanding and task execution), and ongoing login/account-switching friction. Additionally, updates sometimes alter usability by burying features, leading to a decline in perceived UX for others. Overall, updates help in some areas but reliability and accessibility remain common pain points for many users.
Pros
  • Recent updates improved the interface, speed, and overall responsiveness.
  • The updates bring a smoother UX with faster responses and a more streamlined interface (including better voice interactions).
Cons
  • AI performance and accuracy are inconsistent: prompts may be misunderstood and tasks may not be executed, with outputs containing errors.
  • Login and account management friction: frequent sign-out issues and difficulty switching between personal and work accounts.

Copilot used to fully support Tasks Mode on my iPad — task cards, Start button, workflow engine, PDF export, and Google Drive upload. I relied on these features every day. They were part of my paid workflow. Now they’re gone. Copilot forces Chat Mode no matter what browser I use (Chrome, Edge, Safari), even in desktop mode. This is not a glitch. This is a removal of core functionality on a platform used by hundreds of millions of people. Microsoft took away features I was actively paying for, without warning, without documentation, and without any alternative. My entire workflow is broken because Copilot simply decided iPad users no longer get Tasks Mode. If this isn’t reversed, I will cancel my subscription. Removing paid features from a major platform is unacceptable.

This ecosystem and interfere is the worst tech I have ever experienced. Literally spend more time figuring out lost chats, notebooks, blocked access to what I just created etc than actually getting anything done
