Retro top-down racing game

Tiny Racing is a non-scrolling, top down online racing game.

The gameplay is simple, but very hard to master. Race your car as fast as you can for 3 laps. Send challenges to your friends or random opponents, and beat each others race times during a 24 hour time slot. When the time is up, the challenge is locked, and points are rewarded.

Friends race times, are downloaded as a ghost replay.

The entire track is on screen, there is no scrolling. You have the complete overview and can take the corners very fast and tight. Tiny Racing is fast action, with relatively short race times. As you build skills, there are always milliseconds to cut off.

Climb the leaderboards, where you can either compete in timetrial mode, or points from the challenge mode.

Race against the top ranked racers, download their record ghost replays and beat their times.

The first 2 cars and tracks are included.

It would be nice if yall could fix the issue where I create a username but no matter what name I put in, it’ll always say “Username Already exists” I even put something as crazy as “7474737/7/8:&;&;&:” and it says the same thing. Please fix this

I love the racing physics. They are exactly how I want an old-school arcade top down racing game to play. The controls are a bit touchy, but not so much that with some patience and practice they can be mastered. With about 30 minutes of playing I went from 29 seconds to 24.5 seconds on the first track (best all time is 22.8 seconds). It would be really cool if this game could get pressure sensitive controls, so that a light touch only turns the car a little, and a heavy touch turns it a lot. (I mean, pressure sensitive touch is now a feature in iOS after all). I really wish this game had AI opponents. You can only race against the clock (which is a lot of fun and ends up being the last thing to keep me playing a game I’ve overplayed anyway). You can race against uploaded ghosts of other players, too. But I really wish there was a career mode where you can unlock new cars and tracks (instead of buying them to unlock them). It’s also a shame that the developer didn’t include best lap times and not just best overall times. The option to reverse the direction of a map would have also been nice. Nevertheless, totally worth the $0.99. I think this game would have been much more successful if it could be downloaded for free and then you could unlock the cars/tracks for $1.99 or $2.99. This would have made the game more visible in the App Store as many many many more people would have downloaded it.
