User Reviews

Reviews consistently praise Briscola! for its nostalgic, culturally rich feel, and its authentic, engaging gameplay. Players report it's easy to learn by playing and a good way to practice, often using it to connect with family traditions and memories. The biggest drawbacks across multiple reviews are UI and pacing issues: cards are small and hard to read on phones, with the card values not always clear. Users also report bugs where rounds aren’t dealt after a win and a lack of convenient multi‑game scoring or progression. Overall, strong concept with room for polish.
Pros
  • Nostalgia, heritage, and memories tied to playing Briscola with family and culture; it feels authentic to the real game.
  • Fun, engaging, and competitive; enjoyable to play.
  • Easy to learn by playing and good for practice, making it accessible for newcomers.
  • Authentic feel that mirrors the traditional Briscola experience.
Cons
  • Card visibility/readability issues on mobile (cards are small and values are hard to read).
  • Bugs such as rounds not dealing after a win (stuck at an empty table).
  • Lack of multi‑game scoring or progression to accumulate points across games.
  • Some users would prefer traditional playing cards over taro cards and wish for longer game sessions.

E’ un vecchio gioco sempre attuale malgrado tanti altri giuochi. Spesso trovo che l’avversario di turno fa errori imperdonabili.

I got this game, learned by playing, and have been enjoying it every since. It’s cool!

I’m using the same deck as I have at home but I’m having trouble telling the value of each card which makes it difficult to determine who’s winning each hand and what I should throw. Would like it better if the images could stay the same but the numbers in the corner would be bigger or bolder. Other than that it’s providing me with good practice.
