Features & Capabilities

Seep (also known as Sweep) is a classic Indian card game for 2 or 4 players. In 4-player mode, partners sit opposite each other, and the aim is to capture cards from the table to score points until one team leads by 100 (baazi). This extension provides a concise overview of how Seep is played and scored so new players can start quickly.

Scoring centers on 17 valued cards: all Spades carry their capture values (King 13 down to Ace 1), the aces of the other suits are worth 1 point each, and the ten of diamonds is worth 6 points. The total in a deck is 100 points. A seep (capturing all cards) typically earns 50 points, with adjustments if it occurs on the first or last move. For full rules, see seep.octro.com.

User Reviews

The reviews repeatedly cite bot-dominated gameplay, a broken coin economy with auto-bidding and coin losses, and frequent glitches that prevent playing. Updates are seen as increasing bots and coin sales, diminishing human play. Disconnections can cost players coins. A minority note positive changes like muting and the original concept, but overall sentiment is frustration and distrust. Key fixes: restore human opponents, fix betting controls and glitches, ensure reliable gameplay, and improve support.
Pros
  • Nice setup and overall game design.
  • Mute/Block feature added, improving social play.
  • The core game concept remains familiar and appealing to players who enjoyed it.
Cons
  • Bots dominate the game, making matches feel automated and unfair.
  • Coin economy issues: coins can be stolen, auto-bidding occurs, and bets are hard to control.
  • Frequent glitches and 'Bad Move' messages cause auto-play and unplayable matches.
  • Updates seem to prioritize coin sales and bots over human gameplay.
  • Disconnections can cost players money even when they win.

I’ve been playing this game for over 10 years, and I play it every day. But from last 3+ years, it has just kept getting worse. Most of the time their system controls the game who don’t know how to play and how can they decides the coin bets automatically. Its is worst now I’m actually addicted and love to play Seep, but I don’t want to keep playing with this app anymore. Can anyone recommend a better Seep app?
