User Reviews

RunGap is praised for wide cross-platform syncing and easy setup, letting users move workouts between Garmin, Strava, Apple Health, Peloton, Coros, MapMyRun, and more. Users enjoy seamless Apple Watch/Health transfers and the ability to export data to various services, with generally quick and supportive help from the team. The main downsides cited are intermittent Garmin/Wahoo connectivity issues and a pricing model that relies on ongoing payments rather than a one-time purchase. Overall, it’s a time-saving bridge for fitness data.
Pros
  • Extensive cross-platform syncing across Garmin, Strava, Apple Health, Peloton, Coros, MapMyRun, and more.
  • Easy setup and reliable performance; it just works and keeps workouts logged.
  • Seamless Apple Watch/Health data integration with Garmin and other services.
  • Responsive, helpful support that generally resolves issues quickly.
  • Strong data portability, enabling exports/imports to multiple services and platforms (e.g., MapMyRun, Coros, Peloton).
Cons
  • Garmin/Wahoo connectivity is frequently unstable, with several reports of dropped connections.
  • Pricing model is paywalled or requires ongoing payments rather than a one-time purchase.

With so many fitness apps out there, this utility was incredible at getting everything synced together, and keeping it synced!

I am not some super athlete but just a guy that likes to track my movement and exercise. I want to have data to spot trends and for who knows what in the future. The software of many devices frequently support synching with one another, or even with Apple Health. I use three devices and/or systems - Polar Flow, Concept 2 and Apple Health. Some of those support syncing to one, but not the others. Some support syncing but it’s frequently unreliable and just stops working. Run Gap to the rescue - I know have all the sync capabilities in those three system disabled and I use Run Gap as the orchestrator - pulling data from all three and synching it around to the others. It supports so many more systems that I don’t use too. This app is wonderful.
