Users like the app for reliable, cross-device transfers and strong PKI/SSH support, plus network-drive export. However, persistent ads, free-version limits, buggy server setup, unclear transfer progress, and stability issues dominate negative feedback. The core features are appreciated, but many expect better free-tier access, a smoother server management flow, and fewer crashes.

Pros

Great layout and reliable connections (the app connects every time).
Strong cross-device transfers: supports iCloud, photos/music, and home SFTP with easy uploading and downloading.
PKI/SSH key support that works well, including Puttygen-to-PEM conversions.
Ability to save/export files from the iPhone to a networked drive.
Can export any local file type to a target device (not limited to photos or text).

Cons

Aggressive ads and paywall; many features require the Pro version, and licensing can reset on updates with poor support.
Buggy server management: you can't add or edit servers easily, and setup is flaky.
Free version imposes file-size and file-count limits (e.g., 10 MB and 5 files, or 20 MB caps) and restricts uploads.
Transfer progress is hidden and the async transfer flow is confusing; it's hard to tell if a transfer succeeded.
Stability issues and clunky UI, including crashes and ad-covered controls (e.g., Save button).

It didn't let me log into my FTP server, even though I used the exact same credentials on another FTP app and it worked. It's broken.

I’ve only used this for sftp transfers and although most of navigation makes sense the async transfer system is difficult to understand and operate. It’s hard to select files to download. Uploading is even harder since it doesn’t access your iCloud files, only local and finding where your local files are isn’t straightforward. The progress is hidden from view so you never know if the up/download was successful or not. Another thing that’s irksome. You can’t edit server configurations. Once you set up a server and it’s wrong, there’s nothing you can do except enter a new one. Very annoying!
