Features & Capabilities

ClassicWeather is a Chrome extension that makes weather data easy to read. It displays current conditions, hourly forecasts (up to 240 hours), and allows you to compare multiple cities. It supports Fahrenheit or Celsius, 12- or 24-hour time formats, sunrise/sunset, humidity, UV index, wind speed and direction, precipitation (mm/inch), snow depth (cm/inch), and more. It also offers GPS-based current location and multiple design themes, including dark mode.

Premium unlocks at least a 14-day forecast, air quality data, and Apple Weather as an option (iOS 16+). The hourly forecast is extended, locations can be managed easily, and subscriptions auto-renew via the App Store. See Terms of Use for details.

I like the Classic Weather App very much. The design is good; the information is precise and relevant; and it is easily accessible. It also provides deep information—very small towns and vacation areas across the country (and even the world!!). We have used ClassicWeather for over 30 years, and we will not be changing.

Ads now interrupt the app!! What happened? Features look similar to old version BUT the nice lengthy daily text summary is gone. I can’t find purchases to restore. -2☆ PREVIOUSLY: Nice mix of features & accuracy. Loved this weather app for my iPhone 8, now worked w/ my 14 Pro w/ iOS 18.4 & iPad mini, too. Simple to read, but plenty of options. #Recommend Highly > In use more than 4 years.
