Quick Fav Dial - Smart Dialer

manage fast contact favorites

Features & Capabilities

Quick Fav Dial brings classic speed dialing to iPhone, letting you assign favorite contacts to up to 50 positions for one-tap calls, texts, WhatsApp, email, or FaceTime. It reuses your existing contacts, so you don't enter numbers again, and updates automatically when a contact changes.

Enjoy 3D horizontal scrolling, multiple color themes, and dark mode. With more than 50 positions and optional manual field selection, you can tailor shortcuts to who you call most. Note: the app requires access to your contacts to function properly.

User Reviews

Reviewers praise Quick Fav Dial for fast, simple speed dialing and a convenient visual interface, with many calling it reliable when it works. However, recurring problems include lost contacts/numbers, device compatibility issues (iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad), the need for extra taps instead of direct dialing, and cumbersome number entry. Updates sometimes introduce bugs. Overall, it’s a strong solution for quick calls when stable, but stability and cross‑device compatibility are common concerns.
Pros
  • Easy speed dialing / quick calls
  • Simple, convenient and easy to use
  • Reliable performance and does what it promises
  • Visual, contact-based dialing (tap a photo to call)
  • Considered among the best in the market for speed dial
Cons
  • Contacts/entries frequently disappear or get dropped after updates
  • Not fully compatible with newer devices (e.g., iPhone 15 Pro Max) and no iPad support
  • Not a true direct-dial app; requires extra taps or a confirm-to-call step
  • Difficult to add numbers / cumbersome entry process; limited multi-number support
  • Occasional regression after updates causing UI/behavior issues

Bad app. Randomly drops contacts you’ve assigned. Not worth $1 let alone $5

Random behavior, icons, contacts disappear. Try re-adding, sometimes successful. Sometimes not. Not 100% sure there is a developer response, good concept though.
