From an administrative perspective, Mayo really nails it. This is what a patient portal is supposed to do. The app make it easy to access all the information you need as a patient: appointments, pre-checkin, messages, prescriptions, etc. The screen layouts are simple and easy to read as well, which makes the overall user experience less stressful — no searching around for what you need. Of course, none of this would matter if the Mayo staff weren’t responsive and highly professional; fortunately they are.
