Remind: School Communication

I am a bus driver and used this app to communicate with my parents via text when I was on my way in the morning, the afternoons, and when I was absent. I had a great system in place. They took away the text feature and everything is now in app. The SOLE reason I started using this app was because I could communicate with parents and they wouldn’t have to download yet another app. My missed pick up and drop offs were the lowest in my county. This feature needs to return. It was so useful.

We’ve been using this for all school to parent communications for at least two years now. Never had issues. My husband was never able to get in but I’m not sure he really tried. Able to receive alerts, newsletters, etc, and I can start conversations with just one of my kid’s teachers or as many as I choose, like a group message. I needed to send a file or something one time though and I couldn’t. The staff have a place to include their email addresses in their Remind profiles though, so that part is on the school for not enforcing or ensuring all teachers have their email address in their profiles.
