User Reviews

User feedback largely praises the app as a comprehensive grammar and vocabulary trainer with effective drill formats and useful reading-focused options. The tool is valued for practicing verbs and declensions, supporting AP Latin study, and offering a one-stop reference that many users deem worth the price. However, recurring criticisms center on the non-standard, sometimes counter-intuitive layout for learning declensions, and on content limits—vocabulary is comparatively small and selections can feel arbitrary, reducing its usefulness for broad, real-world Latin reading.
Pros
  • Broad, well-structured grammar coverage plus vocabulary practice with multiple-choice drills.
  • Strong practice for verbs and noun declensions; helpful for mastering endings.
  • Ability to tailor learning toward reading Latin works (e.g., Virgil) to focus on relevant vocabulary and grammar.
  • Great value; many users consider it worth the price and a comprehensive Latin study tool.
  • Helpful for AP Latin and classics students; widely recommended.
Cons
  • Non-standard, counter-intuitive layout for noun declensions and case forms.
  • Vocabulary/content is limited and sometimes arbitrary, not representative of broad Latin; about 2,400 words.

Good app, but the way it lays out noun declensions etc is not standard.

I love this app. I slept on it, keeping it in my app drawer for a long time. Dug it out and decided to toy with it and I’m so glad I did. It’s got several features for vocabulary, grammar, and much more! I also love how you can select your course based on works in Latin, so, say you want to learn the words and grammar necessary to read Virgil, you can focus on just that. If you’re learning Latin, give it a spin.

It asked me if I liked Latin when it asked for a review so I gave it one star, however if it asked me if I liked the app I would have given it 5. Latin is the worst class I‘ve ever taken. Miss M ruined my 4.0.
