User Reviews

SettleAssist is valued for its photo tooling, streamlined workflow, and solid Xactimate integration that helps organize estimates and assists newer adjusters. However, multiple reviews highlight persistent problems: slow performance and glitches, login/password friction (no FaceID, frequent resets), reliability issues (freezes, photos misordering, limited offline use), and missing features (apply-to-all elevations, more line items, resend for failed claims). Overall, its usefulness varies by role; some users benefit from the workflow and support, while others find it slows claims and adds extra work.
Pros
  • Photo features speed up labeling and upload to Xactimate, reducing missed line items.
  • Streamlined workflow and standardized process that helps field estimates.
  • Strong integration with Xactimate and seamless referrals.
  • Easy to use and helps build organized estimates, especially for less experienced adjusters.
  • Helpful, responsive call center/support for issue resolution.
Cons
  • Slow performance and frequent glitches that slow down estimation.
  • Login and password friction (no FaceID, frequent resets, and 800-number for lockouts).
  • Reliability problems such as freezes, photos getting stuck, and misordered photos; offline use is limited.
  • Missing features and limitations hindering workflow (apply-to-all elevations, more line items, resend for failed claims, limited CAD/material variations).
  • Cumbersome, unintuitive UI and multi-step photo process that slows the process.

Awful app. It forgets my login repeatedly even though I have it saved on the phone. It’s slow, unintuitive, and makes adjusting so much worse.

slows everything down

Used the app for multiple years and there’s so many things that could be updated for better work flow that never get done. Passwords are the most annoying thing… you can’t use previous 12, if you accidentally enter it wrong 3 times you have to call an 800 number. For some reason they can’t figure out how to use faceID. The app never updates minor things like why do I have to select guttering on each elevation? Why doesn’t it let you have an “apply to all elevations” option? A couple phones call with real life adjusters could make this app much easier to use it feels like. One good note the 800 line customer service people are always friendly.
