Most reviews condemn Oracle Fusion Expenses for iOS as outdated and unreliable. Recurring themes include crashes and performance problems; persistent need to uninstall/reinstall; login/SSO hurdles; weak receipt scanning; and feature gaps versus the web. While the concept is appealing, major bug fixes and modernization are needed for it to be reliable in enterprise use.

Pros

The concept of a mobile Oracle Fusion Expenses app is appealing and has potential.
There is evident demand for a functional mobile expense solution in enterprise settings.
If fixed, the app could provide a convenient mobile workflow for submitting expenses (the idea is there).

Cons

Frequent crashes and instability; app hangs and crashes mid-entry.
Must delete and reinstall to fix issues; reconfiguration is repeatedly required.
Outdated, clunky UI/UX; not optimized for current iPhone sizes.
SSO/authentication issues; Entra ID reauth and iOS login problems; inconsistent across platforms.
Missing features and poor parity with the web; difficult receipt scanning; heavy manual data entry; no reliable syncing.

Recent reviews

I’ve worked at 7 different companies. Used probably 12-13 different expenses systems over my time there. This is hands down the worst of them all. It’s shocking any company would stay on such an archaic horribly designed app. Negative ten stars if I could.
