FIBARO System converts any home or apartment into a smart one, increasing both comfort and security. It was designed from scratch by Fibar Group’s engineers to enable intelligent building management. The System is based on the Z-Wave wireless standard and is able to control the majority of electrical devices and appliances in the home. Thanks to FIBARO a smart home can be controlled from anywhere in the world via user-friendly interfaces for devices such as laptops, smartphones and tablets. The System operates autonomously, based on information received from sensors and via GPS. The FIBARO System is installed on existing electrical system without a need to modify the building structure.

Using the application to preview the camera image can consume a large amount of cellular data - use WiFi if available.

The Fibaro iPhone app is overwhelmingly criticized for a stale UI and poor reliability. Recent reviews

The ui is old, outdated, and unintuitive. All that can be forgiven, but the app has the worse reliability I have ever seen. Sometimes it works, and sometimes the app just refuses to even connect to the main server. Certain commands are buggy and unreliable, sometimes working and sometimes not.

Apps like this need much more development, the UI is old , there’s still bugs in the app , the updates aren’t as frequent as they should be , the potential is there , it just needs more funding

I used to love my Fibaro system. I bought over 50 modules for my HC2. But the plugins and the iOS app, plus an almost non-existent tech support, made me want to move away from Fibaro. The app is loading too slow, you can only have widgets for scenes, and some important modules don’t even show up. For example, it shows almost every unusefull info from a Qubino Power Meter, but it doesn’t show the most important thing: consumption. And it’s been like that for years... Also, the notification system. For example now i have more than 10 notifications, that even show in the bubble over the app. But if i start the app, it shows me 0 notifications... And the worst thing: it show different values than the web version of Fibaro. That’s very bad!
