Can't remove the persistent notification. Bugger issue is that phone sees it as audio so when I get a phone call it won't ring regular ringer but rather beep like I'm on a call and getting another call. Swiping up as suggested below does not help at all.

This app was never very good with iOS. But it is now unusable. You’re constantly chasing the volume. Too bad, cause I used to use it a lot. I’m done. Two middle fingers up

I come from a long use of Zello on my previous Android devices before switching over to my first iPhone, so I wanted to start with the UI of Zello for Apple specifically. A clean, minimalistic look that’s easy to figure out if you’ve used any voice memo app before. Android’s had more going on but that wasn’t a bad thing with the black & yellows. I’m new to the Dynamic Island but like other users, the constant hang-up of Zello in it has already left a sour taste in my mouth. However, the biggest issue compared to using it on Android for so long is messages barely coming through at all. I tested it with several longer messages and only one under 5 minutes ever came through proper. Meanwhile Android can take a 45 minute memo while on Busy and I’m listening within minutes. For now, the app just isn’t good enough to keep over something else that also does the same thing.
