There are many use cases for this simple but essential app. Lately I’ve been using it to pre-draft tweets for Twitter. I would love it if in addition to giving us the counts for the full page, the app could give us counts for any selected portion of the page.

This app was great until you lose 15 pages of work. If your phone crashes or you accidentally close the app. Which is stupid because your work from weeks before will still be there when you open it up but if you close it and open it 2 seconds later it’s all gone. I wish they had a pop up that says “are you sure you want to erase” or something before it just deletes everything. Have a huge paper due in a couple of days and o had about half of it done here but now have to start all over. Wouldn’t recommended this if you’re not gonna be copying and pasting it to a safer place every once in a while.
