User Reviews

User feedback is mixed: many praise TV for Reddit for offering a solid experience when it runs, often comparing favorably to the website. However, a dominant recurring theme is instability—crashes, videos not loading, and long periods of non-functionality across updates and older iOS versions. Some users note improvements after updates, but stability remains the core issue impacting most reviews.

Pros

When it works, TV for Reddit provides a Reddit.tv experience that can be as good as, or better than, the website.
The app is generally described as a solid Reddit.tv solution when functional and has earned positive sentiment from users.
Some users report that updates restore functionality, making the app usable again for a time.
A portion of users appreciated the ability to purchase/support the developer and valued the app when it was working.

Cons

Frequent crashes and instability (crashes on adding subreddits, on launch, etc.).
Videos not loading or playing at all, with endless loading screens.
App often becomes non-functional for weeks or months after updates or due to OS changes.
Compatibility issues with older iOS versions (e.g., iOS 7, older devices) causing breakage.
Temporary fixes often require uninstall/reinstall or re-downloading to regain basic functionality.

This was a really good app. Recommended it to many, but it stopped working while long back and now I'm sad because of it. Not the fact that everyone hates me for it not working. They loved it too.
