User Reviews

Users praise BASS Hz! as an easy, low-lag tool tailored to testing subwoofer systems. They like its straightforward operation, 12 preset frequencies, and a frequency slider that helps locate weak spots and tune gains to avoid clipping. It’s considered a good value for money and reliable for wiring and amp adjustments. However, reviewers frequently remind potential buyers that the app does not boost music bass—it's a test/tuning utility for subs. Some wish for a broader frequency range and easier onboarding.
Pros
  • Easy to use with minimal lag and a simple, no-frills interface.
  • Designed for testing subwoofer systems with 12 presets and a frequency slider, helping identify weak spots.
  • Affordable and good value; worth the purchase.
  • Helps tune amplifier gains and avoid clipping for better system performance.
  • Reliable and straightforward; it works as advertised.
Cons
  • Not for boosting bass in music; intended only for testing subwoofers (scope mismatch).
  • Limited/less precise frequency range; not as wide or fine-grained as some users would like.
  • Some users find the app confusing or hard to use at first, misinterpreting its purpose.

Wish I could go above 100 hz to test front speakers cutoff. Would be easy feature to add.

Got this to find a rattle in my system. Found it at about 70 Hz. It was the TV base on top of my sound base. This will be an easy fix with some buffer material. Great app.
