Too many ads pop up and when you try to look at a news story random ads just start playing and alerts don't go away after you look at them

Reading a news article through the clutter of ads and pop up audio is almost not worth the effort. The journalism itself is lacking at times in detail as to “who, what, when and where”, a long established standard for reporting. Technically the site responds with little latency and does not stall (freeze).
