I retired in 2014 and realized how horrible traffic was on ALL the roadways! FRC EAST was my long time employer of Eastern NC, so I lived in Havelock 3 miles from work and road my bicycle to Cherry Point 95% of the time ! I recently spoke to a NC Highway Patrol Officer up here near Charlotte, NC , where I live now, and he said there are far too many vehicles on the roads now for the highways to handle!
