Negative Me is a small, fast, single-purpose tool that quickly inverts images, making it handy for previewing black-and-white negatives and saving to Photos. However, multiple users report it’s ad-supported and intrusive, has not been updated to support newer iOS versions, and may stop working on recent devices. It offers no live camera preview and cannot handle color film corrections, often producing a blue cast that users must fix elsewhere. In short, great for quick, standalone negative previews on older iOS, but compatibility and feature limitations reduce long-term usefulness.

I downloaded this today to take scans of 120 and 220 black and white film negatives to positive images, and brother is it easy! I can save the inverted image back to Photos on my iPad, complete edits, and done. I’m thrilled!
