User Reviews

User feedback on Epson iProjection for iOS is largely negative due to reliability and usability issues. A minority note basic projection and YouTube playback can work, and speaker output is possible in some setups. However, most reviewers report unstable connections, difficulty reconnecting, compatibility problems after updates, a clunky UI, limited app support, and network‑mode constraints. In ideal conditions it can perform, but across devices it remains inconsistent and fragile.
Pros
  • Basic projection works for simple content (e.g., YouTube) when the app functions.
  • The app is helpful and can do the job for users who get it to work.
  • Supports external speaker output in some setups.
Cons
  • Unreliable connections and frequent disconnections; sessions drop and reconnection is difficult.
  • Compatibility issues with newer iOS devices and after updates (e.g., not working on certain iPhone models).
  • Outdated UI/UX and confusing workflow; poor onboarding and troubleshooting.
  • Limited functionality and app support; many apps don’t work and presenter features are missing.
  • LAN mode network constraints and overall reliance on tricky Wi‑Fi data; poor performance in spotty networks; direct IP vs. browser remote can be inconsistent.
Recent reviews
The equipment is nice, very expansive. But of course, so complicated it often doesn’t work. Every time you turn it on, you cringe with the question “will it find the transmitter fit the wireless connect?” 20% of the time it doesn’t and you have $10,000 of junk hanging on the walls, not functional. So you watch a movie on your iPhone. Stay away from this.
