User Reviews

Overall, Airport Scanner is praised for its fun, simple, and addictive TSA-themed gameplay, solid audio, and a nostalgic, long-running appeal. Players enjoy the quirky hide-and-seek concept, the sense of challenge, and updates like the moon addition, with some even calling it better than Airport 2. However, most reviews coalesce around stability issues: recurring glitches that render mini-games and bonus rounds unplayable, unresponsive buttons, timers that don’t move, and mission/UI screens that fail after updates. Some devices report UI elements appearing off-screen. Despite these bugs, fans want fixes to restore smooth play.
Pros
  • Fun, simple, addictive gameplay that makes for a great time killer
  • Enjoyable music and sound effects that enhance the experience
  • Unique TSA-themed hide-and-seek concept that's engaging and memorable
  • Nostalgia and long-term appeal; many players have stuck with it for years and feel it’s underrated
  • Positive updates and favorable comparisons to Airport 2, plus mentions of the moon update
Cons
  • Repeated glitches and unresponsive controls in mini-games/bonus rounds (buttons not working, timers not moving)
  • Significant post-update UI/mission screen bugs (blank/navy screen, inability to access levels)
  • Bonus time/justice bonus round glitches that prevent progression
  • UI elements sometimes off-screen or inaccessible on certain devices

Better than the sequel

I would give it 5/5 because I’ve definitely spent three dollars in worse ways but the achievement system doesn’t seem to work. They don’t register when you get them in game and there’s no where to view them.
