Area & Distance - Map Measure lets you measure land areas, distances, and perimeters directly on a map by dropping pins. Place three or more pins to calculate the enclosed area, adjust results by dragging pins, and manage sessions with Save/Load. Clear resets all pins and lines, while Locate centers the map on your current location.

Usage notes: drop the first pin at the area center, then add pins clockwise. Distances are calculated based on the Earth's curvature; straight lines are only visual aids. The extension is free to use with optional subscriptions to remove ads, with pricing varying by store.

This app used to work with no issue. Now it closes as as soon as I open it and shows tons of adds when it does open. Not really worth the trouble of keeping.

You need to supply some (any!) instruction on how to use this! Typical App designed by Apple staff—zero comprehension of customer needs!

Purchased the 1 year to support developers, and get rid of the consistent 3 ads that covered the screen. Saving a project as you go isn’t a thing. Making multiple, separate area boxes on the same map isn’t a thing, and even after setting to ft and sq ft, it always reverts back to meters. Bummer of a purchase because it wouldn’t take much to make it usable for my whole company.
