Users generally value the app for convenient deposits and multi-account access, but report serious reliability and usability problems. The most frequent issues are login/authentication failures and instability, unclear balance with pending transactions, missing or hard-to-use features, disruptive notifications, and subpar support. Overall, core banking tasks work for some, but stability and user experience need major improvements.

Cons

Frequent login/authentication issues and app instability (biometric sign‑in failures, verification codes not delivered, error codes, app sometimes won’t open).
Unclear balance display and poor handling of pending transactions (running balance not shown, hard to tell available funds, long holds on deposits).
Missing or hard-to-use features and poor UX (no auto-pay/recurring bill pay, limited bill pay, issues with accessing e-docs, separation of personal/business accounts, outdated UI).
Poor notification experience (inability to disable notifications, unwanted texts, unreliable push/notification behavior).
Support and service issues (slow responses, inconsistent help, changes like removal of Zelle with no good in-app replacement).

Recent reviews

LMCU just replaced the Budget tool with Wallet Wisdom Insights, which is much worse. The new tool does not show me the data I need in order to make informed decisions about my spending. First, I cannot set my own budget categories, but can only use the predefined categories set by the app. Second, my “outgoing” transactions under the “cash flow” tab don’t include transactions from my credit card, making it look like I have much more money than I actually do. Third, the tool does not show me the useful metrics I had from the budget tool, namely spending trends and net worth. What I see now are metrics like my “6 month spending trends”, which for the purposes of budgeting, is meaningless. LMCU, please bring back the budget tool. It was the only reason I used the app in the first place, and was one of my favorite parts of banking here.
