Within the past couple of months or so, articles have become hard to navigate. The cover image is no longer properly scaled to the display so it appears FAR too large, often times taking up more space than the actual article. The way the app handles ads is also super annoying. So much so, I was forced to use the website with an ad blocker to stay up to date on a violent life threatening situation near me. Having to constantly press "continue to app" on the same exact ad when it could just be a banner is terrible for the end user. Yes, why would I want to see what's happening, right? I suppose I could use some roofing work, let me call in the middle of this standoff! Also, please bring dark mode to the app. It's a fantastic accessibility feature.

Week old news. Maybe one or two new articles a day if lucky otherwise the same articles day after day after day. Very poor news app.
