Planimeter Pro is a map-based measurement tool that lets you measure distance and area directly on satellite maps. It supports measuring as paths, polygons, stars, or circles, and you can work with multiple areas at once. Visual records are saved and shareable, and the app works with Apple Maps and Google Maps for accurate positioning.

Customize units (feet, nautical miles, miles, meters, kilometers, and more), area units (square meters, hectares, acres, etc.), fill and border colors, and on-screen labels. Locate by search or GPS, and enable live GPS tracking to keep measurements up to date. Note: Continued GPS use in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Planimeter Pro is designed for precise field measurements on roads, lawns, fences, rooftops, and more.

Not a fan of the update that I discovered happened. Particularly perturbed that Google Maps is now a subscription.

Being a real estate agent in rural areas this app comes in so handy when someone asks questions like “how big is this pond”, “how much road frontage”, etc. Love the simplicity and the features.
