User Reviews

Users praise Acrobat Reader as easy, fast, and useful for on-the-go PDF work, but widespread frustration centers on a pay-to-use model, billing and cancellation problems, and reliability issues with saving edits and annotations. Several reviews note features shifting behind paid tiers, removal of expected capabilities (e.g., signature tools), and a cluttered UI with persistent sidebars. On iPad, basic tasks feel limited, with issues saving highlights and edits and occasional app instability or poor support. The result is a product that’s helpful in theory but inconsistent and costly in practice.
Pros
  • Extremely helpful, user-friendly, and fast
  • Great for on-the-go PDF creation/editing
  • Easy and intuitive to use
Cons
  • Pricing and billing problems: ongoing charges, free-trial cancellation issues, and unexpected fees
  • Edits and annotations often don’t save or apply reliably
  • Limited core functionality on iPad/iPhone and occasional inability to create new PDFs
  • UI clutter and persistent sidebars that can’t be removed
  • Unstable behavior or poor support for billing/activation issues and switching apps

En Enero pagué la suscripción premium por 69,99 y están cobrando nuevamente por un problema de sistema y no logro obtener mi servicio por lo que ya he pagado.

This app has no reason to be as laggy and clunky as it is. It’s been around forever and just viewing pdf text files will eventually lag requiring an uninstall and offloading all docs to temporarily “fix” the issue. These are the features we pay a monthly fee for?
