French Word Wizard

French Word Wizard is the French version of Word Wizard, inspired by the "Speak ’N Spell for the iPad Generation" app by the New-York Times and recognized by Children's Technology Review. It includes a French Canadian voice and is used in many French schools (around 26,000 units). Note that this is an immersive French app — menus are translated, but the voice is fully in French.

Learn to Read French by Building Words with the Talking Movable Alphabet. The app pronounces and spell-checks any word, number, or sentence with a natural voice. It provides 2 child voices + 3 adult voices (including a French Canadian), 4 keyboards (letters, numbers, consonant digraphs, vowels digraphs), and adjustable letter sizes. Features include 3 spelling activities, 200 built-in word lists, the ability to add your own words and images, hints, engaging animations, and per-user progress reports (exportable as PDF).
