However, the app is plagued by frequent crashes, stability issues, and poor ongoing support, with missing AUv3 and limited DAW integration. Licensing frustrations (restoring purchases, multiple libraries) and lack of user sampling further detract. Device compatibility and erratic MIDI/pad responsiveness worsen reliability. Overall, stability and support issues overshadow the strong sound library.

Recent reviews

This app used to work great with my old iPad. Now, however, it crashes on startup on my mew M5 iPad. Other keyboard apps continue to work, including those made by IK Multimedia. It seems that SampleTank is incompatible the new iPads. It is high time for an update to fix this problem.
