I had been using this app about a year, and Newsblur had become my goto news app. It was snappy, didn’t force AI slop on me, and did what I needed and nothing more. March of 2026 they redid all the gestures in a weird way and I found myself using it less. Now I open it and can’t even scroll the feed (it hangs for a few seconds so often I can’t get to the second page of stories). I used to try to convince friends and family this app was worth the subscription. Now I’m just impossibly frustrated and resent the makers. Won’t be renewing my subscription.
