Reviewers praise the breadth of content and reliable performance when functioning, along with helpful support. However, multiple reviews note reliability problems (crashes and playback interruptions, especially with device switching), incomplete availability of episodes even for premium users, and playback/control quirks across devices (including Apple Watch) along with occasional corrupted files and data/date inaccuracies. Recent reviews

There are all kinds of user interface bugs in the new version of Vintage Radio. I spent time talking to the developer about these, but nothing seems to get fixed. The start timer button is broken—you have to press it twice, Siri can’t pause Vintage Radio—it gets an error, the dial that selects what part of the show to listen to is broken sometimes. Sometimes you have to exit the app to make it work. It’s a mess and I will not be renewing my subscription.
