User Reviews

Users praise the app for its easy-to-use, tape-style calculator with large digits and real-world bookkeeping usefulness, plus the nostalgic adding-machine feel and the option to remove ads via Pro. However, recurring concerns include intrusive ads and inconsistent Pro upgrades, printing features that fail or crash, frequent crashes across devices and OS updates, and decimal precision issues (rounding to one decimal and lack of auto-decimal options). Some users also report missing features in the lite version (no multiply/divide) and occasional data loss; overall reliability is mixed with strong appeal for the tape functionality when it works.
Pros
  • Easy-to-use, tape-style calculator with large, readable digits that makes bookkeeping quick and straightforward.
  • Tape keeps a running log of calculations, which is handy for reviewing work.
  • Nostalgic adding-machine feel and satisfying sound improve the experience for many users.
  • Pro upgrade option to remove ads and unlock features is a selling point for some users.
  • Generally reliable and effective for personal or professional use, with praise from many users.
Cons
  • Intrusive ads that disrupt the app experience, including ads even after attempting to upgrade to Pro.
  • Pro purchases often fail to apply or restore, leading to frustration and unfulfilled expectations.
  • Printing/tape print feature frequently crashes or fails to work on devices like iPad Air.
  • Frequent crashes or instability across devices and after OS updates.
  • Decimal precision issues and lack of auto-decimal options (rounding to one decimal, etc.).

No place to enter saved sales tax, s/b two. No way to choose auto decimal. Algebraic entry only. I am about to delete. The free version did not inspire me to try spending a penny.

I don’t understand why someone would make a calculator that doesn’t include the small numbers after the decimal. You can add 2.23 and it says 2.2 like where did the 3 go?

I updated to get print feature…. doesn’t work on my iPad Air. I can email results but I paid for print feature.
