Track My Mileage is easy to use with solid history features and useful tax-related views, and some users report good support. However, it suffers from repeated monetization and billing concerns, data loss and reliability problems after updates, intrusive ads in the free version, and major UI/UX changes to the odometer/end-mileage workflow that break convenience (and export/copy features). These recurring issues outweigh the positives for many users.

The app is supposedly free. However, to activate it, you have to give them a credit card number to which all kinds of things can be charged.

You need to enter a credit card number supposedly for verification. It says your card will not be charged, but mine was attempted to be charged $39.95 for some bogus music add on. I unchecked the button and hit continue and then I received a fraud alert from my bank and had to cancel my card. Once I figured out it was a sneaky ad with 0 point font, I didn’t touch anything at the bottom of the screen again. The features and explanations looked good so I thought I would give this app a try but when I went to record a drive, the app wanted money to do just about everything- reporting, arrival and destination times, etc. what a hassle- I finally deleted it.

Been using for over ten years with no issues. Recently started running a bit slow/laggy. Reached out to customer service and they said “wow! Over 6k entries! That’s the most I’ve ever seen—try deleting some older entries and see how it goes.” Did so and back to normal. Great app and service.
